At this in-person workshop for members we’ll learn to weave a Turkey wing broom, embellished with a plaited handle. We will begin with a smaller turkey wing and cake tester, then advance to the more elaborate plaited broom. There will be many choices of twine and reed colors.

According to Sue, she is a “Photographer, Artist, SeatWeaver, Basketmaker, Broommaker, Designer and Author.”  She teaches classes on weaving baskets, brooms, stools, and backpacks throughout the US, including at the John C Campbell Folk School.
